Yes he broke the fences again. What's wrong with my boy? Why does he always think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence???

They're going to find another horse to put with him in a small pasture, but so much for horseplay....daggone it Tango!

Oh no!
Tango- the grass really is not greener over there!
What a dissapointment.
Some days really are BUMMERS!

It's not that the grass tastes better over there it's the challenge of getting to it. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Hey there Jan
Sounds like Tango is one "frisky" horse. I have never owned a horse in my life - indeed I am nervous around them, but your Tango reminds me of a bedtime story my Mom used to read me as a kid - called "Frisky the black colt"...it was about a little colt that grew up to be a beautiful Stallion. That little guy was always getting into mischief and would try and copy everyone. The essence of my comment is - it will all come right in the end - Tango will be who he needs to be...and I am sure you will be right by his side!
I do so love your writing!

Poor Tango. I guess we're lucky. Our herd seems to be content wherever they are.

Does he only break the fences when he's in with the crowd?

Perhaps Tango really is a loner and doesn't like being one of the herd? Whatever he is, he's certainly a "one-off" :>)

Maybe he can use his magic to find a new friend.

Hello, Jan! I finally made it back to my blog and saw your comment.I absolutely LOVE the photo of you and Tango from the last show of the season. Congratulations for braving the mud and taking all those wins! In the photo you look ecstatic and Tango looks SMUG! Like he is saying to himself, "Piece o' cake. Don't know why that silly woman was so worried!"

Exactly what my son's horse, Shobee, used to do to everything we'd put her in. She'd even go through a hotwire! So frustrating when you KNOW they could be happier if they'd stay put!
