Mistake

>> Friday, October 8, 2010

I made a mistake. As I was downloading my very lovely photo of Annabelle, Maddie, and Sammy playing in the backyard I accidentally clicked on this one. When I looked at it I thought I might as well use it!

This photo is the very reason that my back needed to get well quickly. In fact, my bones were probably scared into healing. This is me raking Sammy in early summer to get rid of his shedding hair. The task took at least 30 minutes three times a day.

I must really love Sammy. Chuck only rakes leaves!

Scratchy , scratchy , scratchy,,,
Sammy thinks it feels sooo good!
Did you save the hair? You could make a sweater
or a pillow
or save the fur for spring time- for birds..

I should have saved the hair Tweedles. I took bag after bag off of him. Shoot, we could have made a Newfoundland blanket..no joke!

Oh, that's a lot of work. But when you love an animal, I'm sure it feels great to do something for him...

Interesting article as for me. It would be great to read a bit more about that matter. The only thing it would also be great to see here is a few photos of some gizmos.

Hi there Jan...
Just popping by - only to discover that you have had surgery and you have been 'out of it' for a while. It really does seem like you are the star patient - as your doctor says.
I really hope that your recovery continues well and that you will be back to full health soon.
It was lovely to see you on Tango again.
Sending lotsaluv

Oh forgot, I think I have some better, close up type pictures. I think I sent them to you and Julie the next day, check back through your emails.

I had no idea you had to do that 3 times a day, holly cow that's 10.5 hours a week. Was going to try my hand with math to figure out some fun number of how many minutes/hours etc that was over the course of a year...but my brain needs more coffee, and my calculator is in the living room.

Do you have to do that all year long, or just in summer and hot months?
