If it dared to stick its head out, she'd grab it. You're much braver than me - I couldn't pick up the mouse. Scotty would roll on it and play with it until the poor mouse died of shock. She hasn't caught one for a Shelley Munrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03090469550227550713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4042207516272431522.post-2207558907820959422009-08-05T11:18:49.251-04:002009-08-05T11:18:49.251-04:00Too Cute, funny and yes..you are definitely an ani...Too Cute, funny and yes..you are definitely an animal lover!! Cats and Dogs have natural instincts, while I wouldn't want it in my house; it's the natural order of things. Nature's order-- food chain-- if you will. A eats B, B eats C and so on. In Maddie's mind that mouse was in her turf.

Now thinking of Maddie gargling sandyhttp://travelingsuitcase.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4042207516272431522.post-67000065259055922632009-08-05T08:15:22.444-04:002009-08-05T08:15:22.444-04:00Hi Jan-

I don't show horses any more (not enough hours in the day!), but I competed in dressage for many years (miss it!!). Oddly enough, agility has quite a few horse people involved, guess there is some obvious cross-over there!

As far asBRUTUShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11876504197398697370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4042207516272431522.post-32011188453538015852009-08-04T22:33:57.367-04:002009-08-04T22:33:57.367-04:00I sympathize; I own a Greyhound with a hunting ins...I sympathize; I own a Greyhound with a hunting instinct. Nothing escapes her. I won't elaborate. Maddie is a good girl, mice are cute, but they are destructive.Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13915962999372304054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4042207516272431522.post-20970082855216591432009-08-04T21:54:58.304-04:002009-08-04T21:54:58.304-04:00Ut oh Maddie... And when I have something, moms yell "drop it, sit, cookies in the house, treats, chicky" anything to get me to drop whatever I have. It doesn't always work. Sometimes all she has to say is "lets trade" and I do.
xoxoxo
tweedlesTweedles -- that's mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01349728497621875670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4042207516272431522.post-11529895753955156112009-08-04T10:09:46.759-04:002009-08-04T10:09:46.759-04:00I feel your pain. Our dog Rosie caught a mole and proceeded to bring it into my house to crunch on it; blood dripping everywhere.

That said, I have an affection for mice. We have had pet mice before and they are really good pets. They don't bite like other rodents.

So, mice in cage--good. Mice in your cereal or your dog's mouth--bad. ;)Parsleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18409440410210436267noreply@blogger.com
