OH PLEASE!

So they think I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree. They call me a ditz. Well, guess who gets a boatload of attention without having to do stupid tricks or even behave very well? WINK WINK! You guessed it....ME!

Kelly was smart. I'll give him that. He had a much bigger vocabulary than I do. And Annabelle aims to please. She does whatever Mom says. She's even got Dad jumping though hoops. I say, "Go for it Annabelle...you go girl!" When Dad gets on the floor to play with Annabelle, I go right over and lick the salt from his potato chips right off his hands. Annabelle makes it easier for me to reach him. Who's a ditz?

Then there's Tango. He does tricks to get treats. He bows. He kisses. He pushes balls and pulls ropes. He takes Mom on long rides. Then he gets all gussied up and wins ribbons at horse shows just to make Mom happy.

I don't have to do a darn thing but look cute and snuggle WHEN I'M COLD.

Who's not the brightest bulb on the tree?

YOU TELL ME!

Love from the true genius,
Maddie

True. Know who's even smarter? The cat.

Hey there, Maddie
We agree...some dogs have all the luck! Ironically it's usually those whose...
"Elevator doesn't go to the top floor!" and
"Who don't have all the cups in the cupboard!"

But we think you have "..all the light bulbs on the tree!"
Lots of licks

Maddie, you and I have a lot in common. Just looking cute is good enough. Let the rest of them jump through hoops, at the end of the day who is snuggling with Mommy?

You may be smarter than the others in your home, but my cats have me well trained. I am lucky that they allow me to live in their house.

Maddie
I think you have everything you need. Adorableness, and I think you have the smarts too. And not only that, you go for what is important, snuggling with mom! And you don't even have to try to be cute. (its just you).
Why waste the energy trying to be something else? You don't need to.

Maddie,

You are a very smart girl, after all you just posted to a blog. But you have to get used to the fact that everyone thinks blondes are dumb. Use it to your advantage and life will be good.

You go girl.

Hey Maddie-
What a face!! Way to go with figuring out the human games! If my mom finds out I read that, she'd gonna be mad - right now she has me doing all kinds of crazy stuff for treats (jumps, obedience). To think all that is unnecessary!! Sheesh! Oh well, back to pouting about the Buckeyes....
