Compare Walks!

>> Saturday, April 10, 2010

She puts us to sleep just talking about it. Imagine that! Our mom talking!!!
We've been on plenty of walks lately because the weather's finally settled down. In fact, the sun's been shining for a few days in a row.
We've walked around the block. We've walked in the park. We've taken walks during the day and we've taken them at night.
In fact, just a few nights ago Christian and Alexa stayed all night. Christian was the great night leader. He carried a flashlight and we followed him and his bright light. The kid's pretty darn cute. Yes, we get to go on walks...but they're just walks.

Now, compare our walks to Tango's! Who do you think gets to have the most excitement.
We think we deserve a trip to Disneyland at the very least! Or better than that, if she'd just stop singing HAPPY TRAILS before she goes for a ride that would help. Her trail riding stories are getting old too!
It's our turn for something better...wouldn't you agree? The dog days of summer are just around the corner. We need to have a plan of action! Help!!!

Yes, you all do deserve a trip! But the dog days belong to YOU, after all. You should plan them and tell her what to do! :-)

Dear Maddie and Annabelle
I know your thinking that Tango's walks are better, but you must think about this deeper.
Do you really think you would want to go splashing into that cold water like Tango does?
Have you thought about the little thorns that might prick your sweet little paws on those trails?
I know your mama sings "Happy Trails" as she goes riding, but I think she is singing "Happy Tails" when she takes you for a walk.
Doggie Days of summer are here, and I have a feeling some surprises are already planned for you.
love

Horses might get more exciting "walks" but any time spent with our four legged friends is so nice-horses or puppies!LOL
My girls challenged me to do 30 miles in 30 days, which might not sound like a lot to some, but w/ their health issues it's a major accomplishment, but more important we are having a blast! Hop over to Lessons For 4 Legs and maybe maddie and annabelle will feel better about their walks!LOL

OK dogs... Time for a revolt! jk

I'm going to let Sadie know how lucky she is... Whenever I ride, she tags along.

I just realized that you puppies need to stop and think about this revolt thing. Have you seen where Tango lives, sleeps, eats??? No, he doesn't get to sleep on the carpet or the bed or in his own soft lined bed. He doesn't get to beg for a taste of mom and dad's food from the dinner table, he doesn't get to come and curl up in front of the fireplace on a rainy day...or during a terrible snow storm. I know Tango is comfortable in his home but you had better think about your own comfy home. Do you want to trade places with him? Revolt??? maybe not such a good idea after all?? Warm hugs and wags to you. I will watch to see if you have moved out into the horse barn and tango is curled up in front of the fireplace!!!
