Oh Brother!

I heard her. What a bag of wind that girl is! Maddie needs to go to the groomer because she's a mess! She rolls in the leaves. She digs in the mud. She pulls tulip bulbs out of the garden. She really is a walking dust mop...full of dust!
As for me, I'm clean. My hair is short. My feet aren't slippers. I don't roll. I don't dig...much. And I've never had a tulip bulb in my mouth. But guess what? I have to go to the dang groomer too!
Why?
Because Maddie's a scaredy cat that's why! Mom thinks if I don't go along, Maddie will freak out! So I have to go through the washer and drier right along with her. Is that fair I ask you? No it's not!
Besides that, I have to sit in the stupid cage and wait...and wait...and wait. Maddie takes twice as long as I do. It's all about Maddie. Poor Maddie pish shaw! Poor me!
Give my mom and earful. I do believe she's enabling Maddie and we all know that's not good!

Dear Annabelle
I sympathsize with you TOTALLY.
You have to endure such turmoil and torture just to keep peace in the family.
Your not dirty or stinky.
It's just BECAUSE!
I know its not fair.
But, I admire how brave you are. And you are such a role model. Maybe little sissy Mad Mad will get braver because of you. Do ya think?
Is there any hope?
BUT, I think you need REWARDS for enduring all this.
I think what ever your little heart desires you should get. How about a slab of bacon?
In fact Annabelle should share her favorite toy with you for a day.
Your brave Annabelle. So brave.
love

No it's not fair Annabelle but it won't be fair to Maddie when your mom gives you the majority of the treats that you so deserve so it'll even out!

Ohhhhhh.....now I never thought of that one! I should have talked to you long before this!!! Annabelle

The way the 6 dogs at our house look at things, you have to take the good with the bad. If she gets a dog biscuit you get one too; right? Good things come in pairs too. Teach her to beg more often and look expectantly for your treat too.

Happy tails to you.

Groomers aren't really that bad! Ours is here at home - and looks like Mom.
Paws crossed for you.

I am with you, DOWN WITH ALL GROOMING! Why can't we just be ourselves? Have you seen me lately I am naked and cold. The horror, the shame. My thoughts are with you both. Hide if you can, but if you must go, at least put up a fuss and above all make the Mommy feel guilty.

Hmmm I'm all for baths whether you need it or not. Good for preventing bugs, checking for bugs, etc. Hey, I'm a Bichon - I get groomed as a way of life! So no sympathy here. Wellm maybe a tiny bit...

The grommers is a horrible place. Last time I was there they cut off my woozle (beard). I think you should protest & loudly next time.

OK so you think you have it bad. But do you have to share a crate with someone who has pooped himself? I do. Tubby always poops ON THE WAY. Mom tries to clean him up but he is too big for hers to handle alone. So I have to suffer. NO you aint go tit bad at all.
