Sweet Sara arrived on Saturday night. After dinner, a few tail wags, and a walk around the block, Sara was pooped. So was Annabelle, she never moved from the couch.
It didn't take long for Sara to feel pretty cozy. She drifted off to sleep while I watched her remembering why I love Newfoundlands so much.
Maddie seemed to think that Sara needed a friend for the evening. She made sure to give Sara a good welcome sniff or two. Sara just sighed. I'm sure she was thinking, "What's up with this little
yapper?!"
Before the night was over, Maddie gave up her usual place on the couch for a spot next to her new
BFF, Sara. Annabelle didn't notice. She was down for the call. What good girls they all are. We'll share some more photos of Sara with you soon.

Sweet!
That's such a lovely story and I have to admit I have a soft spot for Newfies too.
I love a house guest that makes themselves at home--A tribute to the host and hostess!! :-)
OH NEWFIES!!!! How lucky you all are!
That was one tired fur kid!
I love her already.
Sara looks lovely they are such gentle dogs. We have known a few and they have all been so laid back.
Maddie and Annabelle were so welcoming.
And sweet Sara, there must have been something soooo sweet about her that made Maddie want to be closer. (and of course you too)
Maybe Sara was sharing some of her journeys with Maddie.
They looked like BFF's to me.
What wonderful photos.
Sars is gorgeous- and looks so mellow.

She is so pretty. I'm glad she found a forever home.
Rest well, Sara - life is about to make lemonade out of a few lemons just for you!
Your SIL sent me over here - said you were a fellow horse nut (yay!)
What a pretty girl Sara is (we have a recent addition named Sara too, but she's brown and just a teensy bit bigger ;o)
Cute pictures. She looks smaller then Bud, and other Nuf's I've known. Was she?
