It's Hot!
>> Tuesday, August 10, 2010

A fan sits in front of your air conditioning vent just to blow out more cool air.
One dog lays in front of the fan while another WATCHES a flitting chipmunk through the back door window.

This blog is for and about animal people. It is inspired by the animals I love. I'll share some of my stories. My hope is that other animal lovers will use this blog to share their own pet or rescue stories. Ideas and advice are always welcome too!

My husband set up a water cooler out on our back patio for our lab. He has been spending most of his days in front of it.
I think they really want to go to a party :-)

Poor Sammy, he's so big and has so much hair, he must be really hot! Hope it will cool off for you all soon!
We have warm weather but it is raining cats and humans at the moment, they look like they enjoy the extra boost.
You poor babies. Thank goodness for the AC and the fan. Maybe mom could fan you too. Heeee
Benny & Lily
Awww! Must be excrutiating for them and you, Jan. Here, it is about 16C/61F. Bit on the cool side!
Petey and Annie go find them a mud hole to get in, of course they are outside dogs and don't require much grooming, and sure don't like it! Haha. Now, there is not even a mud hole. Remember when we were all complaining about the winter? I knew then that pay back would be "you know what".
Hopefully, we are cooling down to a whopping 88 degrees next week. We have not seen the 80's for weeks; in the daytime anyway.
Yeppers it is indeed HOT! Been in all day.

Hehe, that is sooooo cute! Hot all over the states this summer!!!
I just got home from a ride around the farm. My skin was glistening like I was twenty years younger than I am!
Annabelle, Maddie and Sammy are sooo smart. And it looks to me like they are not exerting any extra energy. Yup their smart pups, and know how to keep cool.
I imagine you can clicker train them to turn the fans on,,, while you go to the barn!
