Nothing Could Be Better!

Good friends, their grandchildren, and Tango. Now who could ask for more? Monday was a fun day for Tango and me...that's for sure.
Janice and John (two of our very best friends) came to the barn with Zach and Camryn, their grandchildren. I was already riding Tango when they arrived. The boy was about to get a workout. He was really glad to see company!
I rode Tango for about fifteen minutes more after Janice and John got to the barn. Then I hopped off. (I do believe I heard Tango breathe a sigh of relief!) I let Camryn and Zach cool Tango off for me with a very nice long walk. We strolled around the arena.
Then we strolled down the tree lined path. Tango was happy. I was happy. The kids were happy.
Tango got his usual treats from me and then he got some more from the kids. He's a spoiled horse for sure.
People always thank me when they come to the barn. I feel like it's me who should thank them. I can't think of anything I'd rather do than share my passion with friends I love. How about you?

Sounds like a great time to us.

When you have a passion for something, you just have to share it, even if the "sharee" is not quite so passionate about the same thing! A sign of true friendship, though, when they are patient with your passion.
NOthing like the magic of a horse. So large, but so gentle (well, most of the time...). I do miss being around them often. You forget how big they really are so quickly. Give Tango a big pat & a smooch for me. Tell him good thing I'm far away or I'd be other there to help give him a workout :)

Sounds like both you and Tango are pretty dern lucky!!

I love sharring my passions too, with EVERYONE.
I am a little show off, and I love to try to get everyone as excited as me! I think everyone feels "special" when we share our inner passions with them. They always leave with smiles and me too! Its called sharring the love.
Everyone world is so different. Everyone's minds can be filled with thoughts of concerns or worries, that blog them down. You may not even know.
Going into someone elses world can be healing.
Entering your barn and arena seeing your passion could be just the magic potion for some friend.
You never know what part of their mind or heart have been refreshed and healed when they leave. I love it when someone offers to let me come into their world, spend some time and see their passions.
It makes me feel special. They feel special too.

From what I see, Tweedles (and Georgie) your passion brings joy to lots of people. Thank you!
So true. I love it when people bring children over and I take them for a 'ride' on Nekoda, Maggie or Buddy. Nekoda has a nice flat back, perfect for bareback comfort! I have no idea how many children have been photographed on her back. I wish I had known someone like me when I was a kid!
Me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree, great post about sharing your passions and being thankful for having others to share it with. There's a saying about happiness doubling when you have someone to share it with. That's what your post reminds me of - so don't hold back your happiness, share it with others.
PS What are Tango's usual treats? : ) I am curious ... please share!
i may not know how to ride but i can feel your love and passion.....i enjoy your blog trememdously

I carry a bag of "horse" peppermints in the back of my car. I have a funny story about that!
He also loves the usual...carrots and apples!
And....Tango loves Coke and Mountain Dew (even diet). I have to hide my cans if I happen to have one around him...or plan to share!
PS....Cocorue, No need to know how to ride, just love animals! You can feel my passion because you already know it!
It was so nice to talk about "good feely stuff " with everyone.
Such cute pictures of the kids on Tango. Looks like everyone was having a grand time for sure. A treat for all.
Any luck getting your pics back? Are these from the same time?
Hugs
Just thinking of the smell of a horse puts a smile on my face!
Yep... The outside of a horse is good for the insides of a person. I agree totally with Miss Muddy Paws! If you can smell them then there's one around somewhere close that I want to see!
